Memories
in which you see, smell, taste, hear or otherwise experience something
that reminds you of a repressed memory?
Well my father sent me a Google Earth image of our apartment growing
up. As soon as I saw it everything came flooding back in a wave of
nostalgia.
The apartment's front door that had a passcode to get in, I remember
seeing my dad's name on the listing of apartments.
The courtyard where I would play with my brother and all the kids from
the complex.
The path where I walked to school.
All these little things that reminded me of just how cool it was to be
a kid, and how I didnt appreciate that nearly enough when I had the
chance.

Is it safe to assume that "no offense" officially no longer has any meaning?
So this is really a statement someone made to me today. Forget the righteous indignation I felt from being called dumb, but I was actually at a loss for words. Which got me to thinking, does "no offense" really mean what it was meant to mean anymore?
Well, I took offense as, one rightly would. I have no idea why I bring this up other than everyone needs to see that Ponch - "You're a homo" picture a few times a day (click the link).

Why quitting your job makes you more honest
Quality Control
company, etc etc. Well, last night on the way home I heard a rattle,
not your everyday "hit a bump-type rattle", this was a "your passenger
seat may come loose in normal driving conditions" type rattle.
There is no way that a reputable car company should be able to sell a
car, or for that matter any item by any company, with glaring
defects. There just is a lack of quality control out there.
I think that companies would rather fix the problems like this post-
production and expect that not everyone will bring in their products
than have a competent QA group.

Christmas Shopping
I’m so tired of seeing the Lexus commercials where one spouse buys another a car with a bow on it or the diamond commercials where the husband gives his wife a six-diamond pendant.
But after my obligatory bitching I realized that Christmas shopping isn’t all that bad. Especially when you’re buying something for someone you really care about. The thought and effort you put into getting something that you know your friends or family will love (or at least hope they will love) is really worth the pain in the ass that is Christmas shopping.

Hi, I'm a blog nice to meet you
Not that my musings are any more musing than others, but this can be the avenue I use to ramble on about the mundane garbage that all of us face on a daily basis.
So hopefully this is just entry 1? And many more to come…
